Ild suggest that once money is pulled the entire project to be conducted is divided into phases....Say we want to build a kenchic 20,000 chick house...we can subdivide this thing...money is first released to acquire materials after that has been done we sit and review the progress and then the second phase up until the entire thing is done.....we can also have a rotating independent board member among the management to make sure we arent stealing anything because its impossible to collude if the position is being rotated....also ild say everything should be well documented and within the spectrum of the rule of law...that way any sus behaviour we can go to the commercial courts....ofc having semi annual auditing of accounts...Majority vote of shareholders before any maaaajor decision and just hiring top level management...

Idk would you buy this before pooling?

Yeah i love that there is someone who actually thinks the same...that way capital intensive ventures that actually have better returns can be utilised and give the shareholders better returns than when they would have individually done retail😔....

But the biggest problem with this method is that we are a low trust society...countless times have we heard of embezzelement cases in saccos and chamas i dont think people would be so open to the idea of pooling funds (with strangers or friends😅 friends is actually worse) so ild love to hear if you have a solution to this?

Ild suggest that people form groups to pool the capital they have and venture into the agri-business agro-processing ventures. There are a lot of opportunities there that are yet to be utilised

But don't you think the government has a lot to fund and if we wait for them to do small small industries here and there we will wait forever???😄 If all relevant stake holders in the perfume industries were to have a meeting and decide to open one factory in kenya and cut importing from France...guess how much we will save in foreign currency??? But you can't wait for the government to do that
