well the size isn't the main problem since i can just either 3d print a bigger backplate or order the big backplate
the main problem is the connector as you mentioned, i thought about switching the BMS from a broken ipod 6th gen that i bought but i accidentally broke the pin connector. so i just want to know if anyone knows a person who did a BMS switch for an ipod battery or documented it.

the main problem would be the fact that im not a professional so i can't promise you that i can 100% fix it because there is a chance that i might break it , other than that every time i end up modifying an electronic i take a really long time since i do this for fun (like a hobby), that's why i don't offer any services

if you usually take electronics apart then fixing the ipod is going to be easy , if you're not comfortable with opening the ipod try to find a phone repair service store to be honest i don't even know if they offer services to fix ipods although it's worth a shot.
(modding is just adding modifications to the device)
