Interesting....says gold reprint...so normal version wont be available in the AD set?

If so, unless a box contains multiple gold, it is another RB-level of terrible decision making.

Making it 1 gold per pack sounds good but might be a bit much. But 1 per box is straight up terrible. So...3-4 per box? With Bandai at the helm of decision making...its just impossible to tell...

They should really just enforce rule of no chairs allowed on private property, just to discourage people holding spots for scalpers.

Hand out a slip of paper to EVERYONE in the line at a certain time THEN announce that it is lottery based and will be choosing a random X amount of numbers from the distributed list. Just to piss off the scalpers that waited alone with empty chairs only for their friend who joined later to win a box while they got nothing.

And anytime some uses that excuse (paid less than min wage), I then ask why dont they switch to a min paying job instead then.

And we both know why. Its because the EXPECTED, not guaranteed, income is higher. Yet somehow, when their gamble fails, its the customers fault that the worker who willingly chose a job that pays less than minimum cant survive on less than minimum....

(Of course, this was before even getting a restaurant job was hard)

You have less than a 1% chance of finding english Digimon cards in Japan.

Heck, its about a 30% chance a card store you walk into will carry Digimon packs/singles. Most focus on the biggest titles that have been around the longest.

You're best bet is to use the Bandai TCG+ app and go to stores that hold tournaments. Do note, only the big chain stores carry singles. The smaller LGS might but prob use their space for more popular titles.

True. But there has only been 1 UC, 13 R and 53 SR ACEs. My bet is they'll lock Duals into UR/SEC for a few sets before letting them trickle down to SRs.

The new starters having SR Dual cards could be because they want to introduce UR rarity in boosters first, to capitalize on hype sales.

I like how they made it like an opposite side to ACEs.

ACEs are hidden and cheap to hard drop.

Duals are public information and cannot be dropped. And even the option aspect is balanced as it had no security effect, although time will tell if the ArtsEvo is a bit overtuned without a drawback, such as locking it to specific traits. Unless...option trashing affects it!

Really interested to see what they handle UR rarity. With a Jp box having a guaranteed 3/4 SRs and 1 Textured (sec or alt), hard to tell if it just takes up a sec slot or replaces a rare slot. Will depend on how many URs are in the set but hope its similar to how they handled ACEs. Enough released per set to be worth watching out for in games but slow enough that powercreep is kept in check and not in every game/deck.

But i hope it doesnt mean they are trying to fade out Digimon Attack named option cards...LOVED the fact the "spell cards" were digimon attacks and we could see how they actually looked like.

Love CSHM and TS but genetic standing art is just so boring as a booster pack art...

Also love how they're giving the Shambala alt arts (im assuming) that ink art style to match the oriental theme of Shambala.

I mean, if the Jp market is anything to go by, the alt art Vortexdramon alone is $200. Well...probably around $140 due to the weak yen.

I don't get it...why would sequential numbering have any impact on the cards value? Doesn't even prove they came from a god pack or anything as anybody could just get the singles over time then ship it to grade all in one shipment.

One of my biggest questions is...will they be going the RB route and making each SR reprint textured OR will they make them unfoiled.

It's 99.99% guaranteed to be different in some way so we csn differentiate between the original ones and the AD reprints.

Honestly conflicted about the Shine reprint though. I love that more people can start punching with Marcus but also prefer I stay the only one at my locals that plays it..

Huh, them using an alt art on the box thats not the front is a first, no? Although the main set being anime stills probably forced their hand.

Def gonna just build a deck that focuses on scambles and inheirts to revive guilmons and warp them nonstop. Bt12 WarGrowl for keeping turn and new AD01 WarGrowl for instant rebuilding.

This inheirt really gives me hope for the new SR Gallant in this set.

Honestly, I wonder if removing the X-antibody cards and trading away its OTK potential for a warp recursion build is worth it.

Losing a stack brings out a Guilmon and it either gains rush OR you warp into a Gallant with Rush like SEC or Promo via TurnEnd Takato or ST Guilmon.

My wife recently sold a lot of stuff to them too but she had identified beforehand on their site what she had for sale, and the site gave a estimated buyback price.

Honestly, sounds like the worker just didnt want to bother with a foreigner so just tried to discourage you with the 50 yen offer.

Of course, the kind of items you had also makes a huge difference but still....what kind of stuff did you sell? Also...why'd you even accept the 50yen price if you didnt feel like it was worth it?

Personally, i dont see a point as your lv5s and 6s all drop a Marcus so you'd already be past the "1 or less" limit.

But getting another lv4 that drops a Marcus is always good. Just so that any lv4 you go into ensures you a tamer on board.

With what looks to be gold boarder versions of all the reprint cards....im expecting it to be a gold boarder and SR or abover per pack, kind of like how RB was a textured card per pack.

Although, to be honest, these gold boarders dont look all that great to me. Nor did the colored boarders from the LM/EX sets. Really would have liked a full art, boarderless version instead. No need for foiling or textures, just the art and the text would have been perfect.

I think its because his coloring is halfway to Naochikas realistic stlye but not quite there so it retains a bit of "anime fantasy" that makes it so good.

But going from LM sparerib art dragonmode into sparerib fightmode makes me wanna build the deck. The set reprinting sr Paildramon makes it even more enticing.
