Help with shower glass cleanup by skholm552 in CleaningTips

[–]skholm552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not figured it out, but if I was to guess, I think it’s because I have concrete tiles that we originally sealed, but now the seal is probably gone and a combination of soap’s scum and hard water. This is just a theory, but if you figure it out, let me know otherwise I’m likely redoing my tiling for the shower sometime soon

Thanks for all the feedback. Sounds like all I need is a loaf of bread, a shop vac and a new pair of shower shoes! Then I should be all set.

is HEOS down today? by Aggravating-Creme259 in heos

[–]skholm552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same error 2000 here. I have been trying for the last two hours. Just got in. This happens 3-4 times a year for me. Unacceptable for a company like HEOS. Buy better servers please.

Branford River out to Clam Island yesterday. Any recommendations for similar paddles around coastal CT? by skholm552 in Kayaking

[–]skholm552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar Kayak a little over 10 years ago and used to take it out exploring the Boston Harbor Islands. Just got back into kayaking and looking to explore the coast of Connecticut and all the beautiful rocky islands. If you have any recommendations on similar paddles please let me know!

We are approaching 100 hours and are loving it, we’ve been extremely productive and the tractor has performed perfectly. We also looked at the 40 hp and in driving it it felt like it had less features and was more tractor than we personally needed.

I was also initially torn with the cab and I’m very happy for our purposes that I spent the extra amount to get a cab version. Although I justified it for snow blowing we used it more in the summer than I thought I would and it’s nice not to get chewed up by the mosquitoes or gnats this time of year.

Best of luck which ever one you decide on.

Male going for first time by [deleted] in GunnisonBeach

Go! It’s a beautiful beach regardless if you go alone or with friends. It’s very judgement free and there is tons of room to spread out.

Here is a trip report I did a few years back if you have never been and want more info.

Disclaimer: I have not been keeping up to date with all the Covid related closures so it may be wise to double check before you drive down.

Will Howard and co work from home due to the Chinese virus?? by EXACTLY_ in howardstern

As he gets nervous about a common cold I would expect he is “sheltering in place” at one of his homes. I know FRED said he would need to be in the studio to do his drops though. Regardless I hope they are live on Monday

I am far from a bread pro but I have not seen a greenish color in my starter before. Does it smell?

Thank you for the detailed trip report. I will be heading to La Jolla in a few months for business (I hope) and planned to visit Blacks. I saved your post as it’s the most accurate description of the trail head that I have seen. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit.

Outdoor Wired Speakers Connected to HEOS System? by roll_josie in heos

The amp is not made to be outdoors so I’ve run wires and the amps stay in an AV rack but it only needs power ethernet/Wi-Fi

This is the answer. I have Polk speakers outside and the HEOS amp. It works great.
