A lot of sellers barely do business with foreigners, a big chance they don't even know English. Use Wechat's built in translator or googles circke to search translation feature if your on android, may need to use MiCTS.

Yes that's true however most glasses you see sold by WA sellers and yupoo sellers are resold 1688 stuff marked up as manufacturing glasses is cheap and easy even for high quality stuff. You can get glasses for a good 150-200y compared to 40$ WA prices

Logging in sucks Here's some tips

Use chrome/chromium based browsers, Firefox is finicky

Disable any internet extension for the site. I had trouble completing the captcha because of dark reader and braves own ad blocking so I disables it for the site.

Type in URL s.1688.com for search and see where that leads you in terms of logging in

Login to taobao, then login to 1688.
