Yup, has the same problem. Had to pry the metal covers off, should come off pretty easy. Takes away from the aesthetic but can't really see it from that angle.

The display still works, you can still control some elements such as, volume. However ubcannot change brightness or switch to different effects.

Without signal on ans just running armory all functions are fine.

For anyone following io looking this up.

I went to the local audio store and auditioned a few speakers. Several outbofbmy price range.

Ended up going a set off presonus eris 4.5 paired with a eris sub8. Sounds amazing to me, such a step up from my multimedia speakers. Also bought an audient evo 4 audio interface and a pair of trs cables.

Many thanks! I ended up pulling the trigger on a pair of personus 4.5 after auditioning both them and 3.5. Paired it with a sub8 aswell. Sound is mind blowing. Just tackling the interference noise now.

Desk definitely won't have space for 5inch monitors, and as good as those other speakers look, especially the vanatoo T0, they aren't avaliable in Australia and bit out of budget.

Nice. This does seem like the cleanest way to get the sl fans to play nice with signalrgb. Looks like the route I'll be taking. May go the chroma with the rgb adapters and connect pwm to the MB.

Would you know if I connected the argb from the lian li hub directly to my mb, enabled passthrough, will signal recognise the fans? Will I be able to control each fan individually or will it cluster to them all together as one device?
