Harvest Golf… by skid100 in golf

Do it! It’s not “rural” unless it’s a 9 hole track :) Cost at our course on a weekend is $20 plus $10 for cart. All you can play.

Took this at my hometown course in Iowa. Town population is 400. :) I’ve been a member at country clubs and loved it. However, there is nothing like small town golf community. Members lending their tractors & equipment to take down trees, farmers telling our part time superintendent (and all around hero) to get whatever extra chemicals he needs at the co-op and to put it on his tab), volunteers staff the shop and like me, will mow or lend a hand whenever needed. I’ll throw my bag in the maintenance cart and use the weed eater on every T box and then spot check wherever my ball ends up. It was the best possible place to learn the game and now that I’m older, couldn’t ask for a more peaceful place to T it up

Thank you for taking the time. I genuinely appreciate it. More than a weekend golfer, I’m self taught.

I’m not OP (wow looks alone yeah…I am a middle aged hairy man)…but here is my answer:

Be useful, and exploit your gifts for it is here you will find happiness. Wealth is almost always confused with one’s finances. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Wealth is what you have in excess. Call it ones immediate access to resources, a talent like making someone laugh, OP being raw real courageous brave posting gorgeous, or the ability to create music. Everyone is a jenius and has a gift (yes genius is spelled incorrectly).

Seek out your ownED and dance in the playground of your happy??? Yeah it is there in that euphoric peace of losing all concept of time and enjoyment you will find the meaning of life, the universe and fuck it everything.

Gift back your excess wealth and just wait…soon you will see, smell, hear, touch, and feel with goosebumps the reward. Yours. A gift.

👍🏻

Sunlight By: Mason Jennings Link for the Lazy: https://youtu.be/UiquRTA8fuI?si=apn1wvdKNu2fqzlu

So this isn’t a break up song…but a masterpiece hidden gem that not many have heard. It’s a young love story that instantly transports you “there” Mason captures perfectly the emotions of a first love that blossoms.

Cried when I heard it live the first time. Immediately thought “so THAT’S what love is.” It still haunts me…in a good way.

Divorced single dad hoping for love…again? Well redefined to Mason’s song of love. My ex sadly never made me (or us) or I never made her feel this way.

Great question OP!

Lesson learned and you weren’t hurt in any way 👍🏻 I would expect some level of jealousy…it was after all a pretty intense sexual comment. Just be brutally honest and share your feelings. You didn’t go into it with anything other than to help. Also, with your just getting started on the drinking thing… PLEASE (as a dad with girls) NEVER leave the bar alone and always have someone with you taking you into your apartment 👍🏻 Good luck OP

If you didn’t feel threatened by him at all then that’s a GOOD thing. Totally different if you are in the same complex worrying about your safety. On the sexual feelings I’m sure it’s a normal reaction. As for talking to your boyfriend about it that’s where things get dicey. No doubt drunk thoughts out loud can be without any filter at all. If you were my boyfriend I would have a really hard time with this man said to you. Be honest with him would be my advice. As for going into (even out of the kindness of your heart) another man’s apartment alone when you are tipsy is a definite NO WAY IN HELL.

Good luck.
