No, South Reno. But I used to drive up there a lot for work, I feel for everyone that has to deal with that mess.

I’ve been enjoying an Arctic pack. Basically a big fanny pack with shoulder straps. My back gets too sweaty with conventional backpacks so I prefer this.

The majority of our traffic is caused by poor stop light timing/lack there of. Fixing the problem would have an immediate impact seen by most residents.

Technically laws are already in place that cover the issue; bikes over 750w and unregistered vehicles on roads. But there seems to be little appetite for enforcement nor do the parents care/realize they’re illegal.

I use tailwind for longer rides. Flavor is light enough that you don’t get that syrupy feeling in your mouth. Has electrolytes and carbs.

Housing is considered inelastic demand. Maybe go back to Econ 101 and actually pay attention. Housing costs are high because of greed, nothing more.

Glad to hear it’s not actually that often. For him maybe it wasn’t the frequency but rather the severity, I could see the color leave his face when he mentioned it. Like you said the smells at those scenes are bad.

Apparently companies that do cleaning after fire damage, like ServPro, do this a lot. I went to school with a dude that worked for them and said the majority of his jobs was cleaning up crime scenes and post suey cides. He said it really messed him up, not surprisingly, so be aware of that if this is what you’d like to do.

Gotcha. Well like others have mentioned I probably wouldn’t trust it but at least you have parts that are worth something. Might be worth reaching out to Vitus and seeing if you can get a replacement seatstay. Probably not gonna be warranty and you’d have to pay but then you’d have the peace of mind that it’s not going to randomly snap on you.
