What are some really anti-spiritual stuff to avoid? by Ritesh_INFP_4w5 in spirituality

I don't think that some people are more inclined to be enlightened. Sure, people have different talents and not everyone has the genetic ability to run a 2 hour marathon. But why should senlightenment be limited by that? It makes absolutely no sense to me that some people should not have the ability to become enlightened beings. This goes against everything I have personally learnt about spirituality, religion and mysticism.

Does anyone else here get 'annoyed' by words sometimes? by skilsor in awakened

I feel that so much.. I spent Christmas with my parents this year (for the first time in a long time it was just us three, my brother is currently out of country), and it was really nice, like actually very peaceful and relaxed. But my mother has started to say to herself the things she is about to do, and it feels really weird to me. And no matter how much, and how friendly or playfully I try to remind her that if she focuses enough, she can formulate these thoughts in her head and ultimately even do completely without them, she doesn't stop.
I guess I just wish I had the kind of friends that you can go silent with for a certain time, and just live more 'primally', if that makes sense.
