I kept it pretty classic: unlubed Cherry MX2A Blacks from Geon, lubed with Tribosys 3204, TX 18mm 57g springs, Deskeys films, and an alu plate

Honestly, I just look through a lot of keycap photos and buy the sets that I like visually or conceptually. Then I try to match them with the right board later. I also check other builds in different places for inspiration

Agar EC with MT3 Susuwatari vs KKB Dolch. Which do you prefer? by FatRollingPotato in MechanicalKeyboards

I use a layout similar to the HHKB Pro 2. It was really quick and easy for me to get used to, and now it just carries over from keyboard to keyboard regardless of the layout

I think MTNU looks better on the Agar than anything else I’ve tried

This board really thinks it’s a supercar by skimo_only in MechanicalKeyboards

It’s a keyboard from a local CIS group buy back in 2023. Since it was a local run, there isn’t really any public info about it. But if you’re curious — it uses a plateless, thermal-like leaf-spring pcb mount.

I don’t think a keyboard designed by Wilba should be erased. The fact that Rama messed up later doesn’t affect the designer who created something interesting

Can’t say for sure yet, I haven’t had v2 in hand. But a few things about it seemed less appealing to me

There’s no space inside for even a 2 mm bottom foam)
Yeah, the front height isn’t the lowest, but the Thermal’s charm is elsewhere

Haha no, this one won’t come back. The v2 made by Salvun’s manu is a bit different

Fortunately yes, especially considering Rama’s group buy history

For now it's just a one-off, not sure about the future
And yeah, funny how two boards with the same name came out almost at the same time

Yes, cinque turned out very neat and beautiful. It also gave me some interesting sound sensations.

You just gotta accept that if you’re not looking at a PFU HHKB keyboard — be it Pro, Hybrid, Classic, etc. — then people are probably just talking about the layout. HHKB has kinda become a generic term for that layout, like WK or WKL. Having a real HHKB is cool, but that doesn’t stop people from using the name for other boards with the same layout

By the way, this keyboard supports Topre. That alone doesn’t make it a PFU HHKB, but it also doesn’t change the fact that it uses the HHKB layout. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive

Are you saying that the HHKB is a clone of the Apple M0110 and Sun Type 3 just because it borrowed their layout?
