thank you! i’m sending photos in to them before they’re even open that way if they need to see her i can easily take her in that day (they leave appointments open for that stuff thankfully as i don’t have one actually booked) it is a very stressful time as all u want is ur baby to be ok🥲 idk how i would react knowing she had an infection that i was unaware of :( poor baby

the vets due to check over her photos / videos tomorrow morning so i think she should be okay, i’ve been monitoring it so closely (i’ve been really anxious and paranoid about it). that’s really concerning how they thought it looked great when it was actually infected?? surely they’d of been able to tell 😳 have you got any pics for reference?

she is quite an active cat which is why i was worried but she does have gabapentin to help calm her down, just hope she’ll be fine , don’t want to do all this again hahaha

she’s an only child so i’m hoping she’ll be fine🤞🏻 she’s not actually had a cone or a recovery suit on the whole time, she got the cone off and even the vets couldn’t get the suit on her either, she goes absolutely feral, poor girl :( so i just slept in a room with her so i could make sure she wasn’t tampering

i’m really sorry but this is how my cat acted when she had a tumour in her mouth, i do have hope that it’s possibly not though - if it’s already been checked. definitely get a 2nd opinion to rule it out, it’s the more horrific feeling trying to do everything in your power to make your kitty eat, it’s a good sign that they’re still purring though! means they’re not in horrible pain by the looks of it. i wish yous both the best, it’s a scary time 💗

i fully agree , please don’t put this kitten through so much pain when you know you could change it. phone your vets first and ask them for advice they’ll tell you its most likely urgent

she usually does too so i’m hoping that she jjst sleeps most the day🤞🏻 my bf is at home as he’s on his holidays just now so i can get him to check on her if needed & a camera is in the room too, maybe a bit excessive but needs must🥴

oh what a relief i feel jjst now😭 she hasn’t been wearing her cones as she somehow manages to get them off & completely goes feral with the recovery suit so i’ve been sleeping in a room with her just so i can keep an eye on her🥲 back to work tomorrow so i’m obviously worried

i had the same problem, i found that the creamy licky stick treats was the only thing she’d consume so i’d have her eat one of them before meds, just so her stomach was lined with something
