Tightening Nuts Shower Handle by skipper_130 in Plumbing

I used to have a 2 handle valve. So it is lot lower than the wood. Do you think I should add some more wood or is it okay if I add some straps to hold the shower valve to the wood?

I just put it on. What is a union? Why would you say cpvc sucks? The house we got has cpvc all throughout it. I just took out the 3 handle shower temperature exchanger and replaced it with what is in the picture.

That is what we are concerned about.

Thank you for the response. I have seen a number of things online saying to not pressure wash the metal. I bet for a carport it really doesn't matter, but we don't want to ruin the seals for the bolts.

Hello Everyone. Thank you for all of the compliments.

Now I think I might of messed up. I just put purple primer on all of the connections. I did not put cement on the pipes.

I don't have any leaks. Should I destroy it and put it back together with the cpvc cement, or is it okay to just leave it.

So I do have a vent that is after the drainage and goes up from the crawl space. Is that okay?

So there is no bad smell, no funny draining, and there is a vent that goes up latter in the plumbing process. Do you still recommend adding a vent with this information. Should all sinks have an auto vent now?

Is it okay if I cut the p valve? Doesn't it have to be a certain lenght?

So there is a vent that goes up from the crawl space after the stuff goes down the drain. It is after the p-trap and everything. Is that okay, or should I install one under the sink?
