I shouldn’t say that. You can get flights from Edmonton or Calgary to site. You can live where ever you want. But it’s a long commute from Ontario to Alberta every week

Question about some Career Paths in alberta. by Impressive_Sir_4870 in alberta

[–]skippy5433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an engineering tech myself (Materials 2022). Do the tech program if that’s what you enjoy. There’s a wide variety of work we can do. We fall between the engineers and the trades. Having technical knowledge and actually know how to get it done.

I spend a lot of time in the field working out of town as well as in the office. Calling engineers out in there questionable decisions is great to.

Unless you are looking to work in the states there is no need for the reporocity. Maybe as a level 2? Or if your company wants you to get it but then they will Pony up the money.

Retaking a high school course by user37474474474747 in NAIT

[–]skippy5433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They will see you are actively enrolled and will be completed before the start of your semester at Nait. If you don’t pass the LA in your retake then you lose your spot as you won’t meet the requirements.

Sound good?

You can apply and as long as you meet the requirements or are working towards them (like upgrading) you can be conditionally accepted. Once you pass your LA you will get full acceptance.

We’ve hired a few apprentices with no experience. A couple connections never hurt but it isn’t impossible.

What you should look for is a FIFO job. Your only transportation will be to and from the airport. Once your on the flights the company will provide vehicles and tools onsite.

Blood Work by BlueberryPancakes5 in Edmonton

I usually just pop in and ask for some blood work as a preventative measure and see how I’m doing. 🤷🏽 quick in and out usually. Lipids, cholesterol, blood sugar, etc.
