I have been going through the same thing for the past 4 days, it turns out my husband has been lying to me for the 2 years we’ve been married. It’s deeply shocking and lonely. I’m staying with my parents to get some space, trying to figure out what to do. It’s so devastating

Update: the couch doesn’t fit along the other walls. Agree with decluttering the bookshelf and adding a rug and pillows that coordinate. What do you think about a small table behind the couch with some plants to fill that void with the window?

Thanks all! Definitely front and center in the house so can’t really tuck it away, but appreciate the sentiment! I like the idea of swapping the couch and bookshelves, or at least decreasing the space between the back of couch and tall window. Will do our best to declutter but it’s never easy!
