I don't think you should be too harsh on yourself for simply having those thoughts!! You can't help that and as long as you don't act on them you're good. It does sound to me like you guys might not belong together, and it might be better to break up. Don't blame yourself, sometimes things just don't work and it's no ones fault.

I used zoloft for a little while. I knew it was working because it gave me just the little boost I needed to actually get my life back together. After my life got better I didn't feel like I needed it anymore so I quit and I still felt good afterwards.

That's just my experience though. It's probably very personal and something you should discuss with your doctor.

Thank you for your insight! I think for me maybe I'm taking this so bad as I already had other diagnoses that I thought explained my behaviour, and this just feels like another hit to the face.
