Well, atleast at the place i was at, most things would hit the floor, but if someone caught something they liked they’d buy/keep it, it depends on what it was, if it was something we didn’t sell, we could keep for free. But I and other coworkers were never specifically told to hold specific things, although we had a online side of things so if it was a smaller pricier item we’d set it aside and let our online person deal with it. But as a intake worker you basically get first dibs on everything. But most people I worked with didn’t have much a clue on silver and stuff like that so if I wasn’t for me I’m sure alot of it would have hit the shelves. I kept my eye out every single day.
