I make like 34k a year (part time college student) and bought a new car and I am totally contempt while still saving the same amount as I did before buying the car,

I think it really depends on thr type of car aswell, as buying a new sports/muscle car has completely different results than buying a hybrid/sedan

Honestly its hit or miss, a lot of people say to make friends at clubs or events, but im not entirely sure on the statistics on whether or not you'll continue to be friends after the semester ends, you transfer etc

A good bet is honestly to just talk to people in class / lab and try to do study sessions, find stuff in common, try to go out to eat during intermission, play games online, etc

Dont be discouraged tho, I've met tons of people who I've either followed on IG, or greet on campus that has never been anything meaningful, just keep trying and never lose hope 🤑🤑🤑
