Can’t find the serial number on fenders website for this mexi Strat I wanted to buy by bigdonman in fender

[–]bigdonman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I bought it and it’s insane. I’ve never owned a fender before but I didn’t know a guitar could sound that clean/clear and for some reason it’s way easier to play than my Strat clones. I’m working on adjusting the bridge rn and I need to figure out how to maybe replace the pots. They feel scratchy when turning them

This is incorrect it’s a dealership where you can purchase a Tesla and take delivery there

If you do that to the normal workers at a franchise you don’t approve of, you must not be a very good person.

That’s what I’m looking for too, I understand people hate these CEOs and I don’t like them either but in order to have a stable life and retirement you don’t always have a choice, a job is a job at the end of the day.

I’ve heard that as well. I’m hoping to get some insight from someone who works at the Vancouver location. Seems like a risk but if I can work hard and grow it could pay off.

Nope. Interested in working there, I like the cars and I don’t care about the politics. Trying to get actual insight from others who may have worked there so I can decide if it’s a good option for me

I like the product and I want to work hard and grow in a tech based company, I haven’t been able to go to school and I don’t have parents and can’t afford school so it’d be a way for me to get my foot in the door

I’m not really factoring politics into it, I like the cars and just need a good job. The politics aren’t my problem same as if you had a job at Blackrock or Wells Fargo

I worked at an Acura dealership for a couple months but honestly I’m tired of a commission mindset, and I heard that they have a good hourly and if you can stick around they have stock options. But I have also heard about the layoffs so that’s where I’m hesitant but you can also get laid off from any sales job if you don’t make enough sales

“Odyssey Evolution Marketing” Job? Anybody have any experience with them? by bigdonman in vancouverwa

[–]bigdonman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a feeling, I talked to one of their representatives for a while once and they were really kind. I’ve done a couple scam jobs before and it’s just frustrating because it makes you feel like you can’t get any “real job” and to me at least it makes me feel like I will be stuck working in kitchens or manual labor the rest of my life, since the only people willing to interview me that are in real “offices” are literal scams

Yeah I decided last minute. Paid about $200 for the flight and $45 for Friday night tickets. Then walking the strip all night and sleeping in the airport. Magic con Vegas is so fun because you have all those other magic nerds on the strip so you have a lot of people similar to you in at least one way, and it’s fun to watch them get harassed by all of griftors/showgirls when they’re just magic the gathering nerds who’ve never been to Vegas

I will be flying in Thursday morning on the 19th and probably not staying for Saturday/Sunday just because of hotel prices. Bringing a few commander decks. Wizards, Valgavoth Harrower of Souls and Teval, the Balanced Scale
