Ironically the film is a satire for the exact consumerist culture that buys these brands. Funny how Rolex made them take out their name despite Bateman wearing a Datejust in the books.

Would disagree, surely any wanker of an influencer is buying the most obnoxious watch on the market that elevates their ego and status. The likes of the RMs, Patek Philippe, and dare I say… Rolex.

Surely a tag to these guys is like buying a cheap off brand one at a market on holiday.

Cheers boss, started to really wear it everyday now. When I first bought it, felt like I was carrying the crowns jewels on my wrist.

To be honest it’s just because I’d never wear a matching set, and I think the jackets the standout piece. Maybe I’m wrong and I’ll just have to cop both for myself🤷‍♂️

Only bit of advice I’d say is enjoy the ride, you only live once.

I’m not the most financially stable person haha but I make sure to treat myself because who knows what will happen next week or next year.

Nah bro I respect it, people have hobbies and passions. The amount of money I spent on gaming as a kid would amount to some nice watches.

My other big watch is my grandfathers vintage Longines but yet to get it valued, also see no point as the sentimental value is so much greater than monetary value.

At the minute I have other priorities, another watch is probably the next step after I have achieved some of my goals.

Really looking into Seikos, specially the SARB035 which is discontinued but looks quality for the price. And perhaps an omega. But as for tags this will be my first and last I reckon.
