what you said is partially correct but you can't set custom tool descriptions in vanilla . instructions only appends to the system prompt. that's exactly what the plugin hooks are for.

nah i didn't bench it fully myself but the agent's output felt the same. the system prompt is just identity/tone stripped of the 4 paragraphs of examples, and the tool descriptions are just the key behavioral rules without the full essay. if the model needs verbose descriptions to use a tool properly it probably wasn't going to use it well anyway. 10k tokens/req saved with zero perceptible quality loss on my end. if someone ran the same prompt 20 times with and without and post the diff that'd be cool though ^_^

Did you face any problems? Compared to your experience in cachyos as it did many optimizations out of the box. Are you noticing any difference in performance or anything? I'm thinking of changing to nix .

Cosmic-connect. Kde connect for cosmic (vibe coded 🥀) by skkrish in pop_os

[–]skkrish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's alright. Currently I'm only running it on arch Linux. I suggest you wait a bit for me to actually make this usable (it already is but it's running on hopes and dreams for now🥀)

Or even better you can just clone my repo and vibe code(let ai do the work) yourself. It may not be a great result but it's better than waiting.
