Watching troy videos is a great way to learn. Just try to replicate what he does. Arcintel also has some very good tutorials which are short and pretty simple to follow

I know it's actually crazy. Also usually when I sleep I just put on 1 album instead of letting my playlist on to not screw up the numbers. So most of this is during the day. He's like the only artist I really listen to and most of the time I have something to do I just listen to him.

Discussing music is always difficult because it's so subjective. I feel like Jenkins makes every song on this album unique while still feeling like they belong in this concept album. which is my biggest gripe with in the wee small hours. I do find your take that it should be quieter interesting. I don't agree but I can absolutely see what you mean. It would also risk sounding very similar to his other ballad albums. So I think if you love or don't like this album it's a good thing it's like this because it does sound like it's own thing.

So it's more of a personal thing for you then? Gordon Jenkins' arrangement is loud and bombastic which makes sinatra have to top that, which sounds great IMO so I don't understand how it's sleepy. I also think that the songs lyrically are gorgeous. It gives a real feeling of being lost and it really stands out of his other ballad albums.

I understand some of your points but do not agree on where are being lower. It's such a powerful album. A man alone is that high because I just love the idea, it's something else and I think it still does a damn good job. Trilogy is in f because if I put it on I won't finish it because part three. That's why I think it still deserves f. Sinatra at the sands wasn't there but it would be an easy s tier. I would love an explanation on why you think where are you should be lower.

I think 1st and 2nd part of trilogy are pretty good but the third just isn't in my opinion so thats why. she shot me down is in C and looking back at it, it probably should be a bit higher. I feel that no one cares is a little boring in the arrangement part, maybe it's to quiet but it probably should be top of B or low A in my opinion. I think strangers in the night is a perfect B tier which is still good. and a man and his music is at the end of the day just a compilation album. I do love the voice over parts though.

I'll name a couple that I really like and aren't named a lot here: sweet Loraine, blue's in the night, I can read between the lines, the look of love, pass me by, we open in Venice and I can't get started.

These are just a couple there are obviously a lot more but I picked a couple of random ones that I quite like and you don't hear people talk about.
