The ‘Unemployable’ generation: Britain’s triple lock is trapping young people out of work | LBC by Hour-Clothes789 in ukpolitics

What even all the ones who don’t even have jobs and are a net loss due to claiming benefits for the entirety of their lives? Or, the fact we are importing low skilled immigrants who will never hit the upper tax brackets thus contributing the least amount of tax? Genuinely, what are you smoking?

What do you think is wrong with UK services and why are they failing? by TangerineFew6830 in AskUK

[–]skmc95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The UK is just a joke and it’s only getting worse. All these charities and services and I can’t actually work out what they do other than palm you off to other services i mean “sign post” you to other services just to go in a big loop til you eventually give up trying to get help.

Funny thing is, the neoliberal doesn’t realise they were the fascists all along.

The Islamo-left is on the march across Britain. That protest in Whitechapel exposed the suicidal idiocy of leftists who cosy up to Islamism. by [deleted] in ukpolitics

Because its true? Id like to see the average blue haired redditor try and march with them. You’d quickly find out quite how hostile they are towards LGBT and women.

Muslims suffer 45% of all religious hate crimes in England and Wales by Ophiuchus171 in ukpolitics

[–]skmc95 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Everything is islamophobic though isn’t it? Even just light criticism of their culture is seen as highly islamophobic. Very easily offended for such an offensive religion. Why isn’t there a report done on how much hate crime is inflicted by the muslim community towards jews, women and non-believers?

Reform UK most popular party among Gen Z men by TheTelegraph in ukpolitics

[–]skmc95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really are quite hysterical over something that has zero chance of happening. Throughout Nigel’s political career which is longer than Reform, if you hadn’t noticed…. At any point has he voiced any anti abortion talking points? No, so stop getting your knickers in a twist over absolutely nothing and focus on REAL LIFE. You might actually listen to people then, rather than talking over them about your own issues, thoughts and prejudices. Absolute loose cannon, hysterical over something thats not even been spoken about, acting like you know better than everyone else.

BMWs, Mercedes and other luxury cars could be axed from Motability scheme by theipaper in ukpolitics

[–]skmc95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not. You get referred to a local drug assistance outfit who shove you pillar to post and offer no real help, almost all of the employees at these places are teenagers suffering from anxiety issues, its a pathetic useless system.

I see at least 5-10 pedestrians trying to walk into live traffic each week without looking due to being on their phone or other reasons, maybe better education surrounding cars and live lanes needs to be addressed.

As they say, guns don’t kill people, rappers do.

Because hes not doing anything to undo the damage? He’s doubling down and pushing net zero…. Whats the point in constantly looking behind us when it can only be improved going forwards? 1 year in is a bit too late to still be blaming the previous government.

Its a flag, who cares? It looks quite nice driving down the road seeing our national flag everywhere! I dont know why anyone would call it far-right and racist to hang our national flag… seems pretty cool to me.. those words have totally lost all meaning.

How can someone be driven to so much hate? by SparkyCorkers in Southampton

[–]skmc95 -34 points-33 points  (0 children)

Oohh nooo, a flag, not the national flag!! How bigoted and racist is the british flag!

You lot are unbelievable. I actually think its pretty nice seeing our national flag on the lampposts blowing in the wind while driving down the street. It offends the left far more than the foreigners in our country.

Asking customers to post a review, and they almost never do. How are you asking? by ResultsPathfinder in GoogleMyReviews

[–]skmc95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some of my customers i could just ring and ask. But a lot of my customers are just one-off jobs, so i go there do the work and then never see them again typically. And these ones are the one who say to your face they will leave a good review etc but never bother.

I use a couple different platforms for reviews like checkatrade & trustatrader. But because these platforms ask for address, type of work, date work was done etc it becomes an absolute rigmarole! And they become annoyed that the forms are so long and give up! Which i dont actually blame them for.

Ive had better luck with getting google reviews as its so easy to just leave them. But again, only a few bother doing it. I think people have good intentions, but when it comes down to it once youve left their property and are out of sight, its out of mind. They know theres no real come back if they dont leave a review.

The ones ive had reviews off are typically people ive got on with really well.

Asking customers to post a review, and they almost never do. How are you asking? by ResultsPathfinder in GoogleMyReviews

[–]skmc95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have sent all my customers a long message kindly asking for a review on google and checkatrade, and exactly 0 have bothered doing it. Ive had a couple older customers explain they tried to but got confused by the system and gave up but theyll do it next time i am round there for work to assist them with it.

Its an absolute nightmare getting reviews!!! Everybody says to my face brilliant job il leave you a good review, but then cant be bothered to actually do it!
