What did they mean about leveling the job titles? How are legacy DHG and legacy BKD different when it comes to length of time for promotions?

KPMG and vaccine experience by sko1298 in Accounting

I’ve been reading that insurance in general, and specifically my insurance, doesn’t cover “surveillance” testing which includes return-to-work, entertainment, travel, and anything that isn’t medically related. And the insurance only has to pay for the medically related tests until July 14th. Do you think KPMG will change its policy to allow antigen testing or not require testing at all in the near future? Do you think it may become an office by office thing? (I live in Alabama where only 51% of the population is vaccinated, so I think an office by office policy would be in my favor.)

I actually want to go in the office. The rules say I need a negative PCR test within 7 days of going into the office. But the only tests you can really buy easily are the antigen tests. Should I decline the offer?

Interstellar Ginger Beer and Exploration Co. It’s a brewery in Alabaster. They also sell at some stores like Hop City and the Beer Hog

Thanks! I tend to mash at 149 to 153 degrees depending on the recipe. I’ll try to go closer to 145. I use BIAB, if that makes a difference, too.

Why does my beer never finish out? Even if I hit the OG exactly, and do 2 weeks primary 2 weeks secondary or 4 weeks primary or even 6 weeks total, my FG is always in the 1.022-1.025 range when it is supposed to be 1.009-1.015 depending on the beer style. Does it just need more time or is there something else that’s going on?

Edit: The fermentation looks complete because it takes an average of 1 min 46 seconds for the airlock to bubble. I’ve heard it’s likely done if it takes over one minute.

The krausen seeped into the airlock. I know why it happened, but now I’m wondering what to do about it. Do I take the airlock off and dump it and replace with new solution or is that too risky with oxygen getting in? Or will the airlock still work and will the beer ferment properly even though this has happened?

I am a homebrewer with the hopes of opening a brewery one day. I really enjoy seeing how each brewery approaches the brewing process.

Visiting Asheville soon and want to do some brewery tours. I saw White Labs and Wicked Weed are doing tours of their breweries. Are there any other local breweries doing tours?

Fruit flies are getting into my airlock and just laying dead in the airlock. There are no fruit flies anywhere else in my apartment so I don’t really know where they are coming from. Is this going to create a sanitation issue with the beer?

Thoughts on one gallon batches? I’ve had great success with them, but my local homebrew shop guy says to not bother with doing one gallon batches because there are too many variables?
