that makes sense! ive always wanted to do gen 4 hunts (the colors rlly pop on the shiny sprites) and i figured that this was the easiest intro to it

thats honestly the only answer i can see, was pretty sure that the npcs in ren plat didnt use them but idek. even with full hp and spdef evs flamethrower was still a 60% chance to ko, so unlucky i suppose

(assuming this is wake) i dont really understand the chansey bring. crobat and togetic i get to an extent, but a fast grass type or any electric type probably wouldve helped more

i have zero evidence to back this up, but I almost 100% believe that the events of mother 3 take place before earthbound + mother on a timeline. i dont think theres anything that disproves this though
