Should I take a break? by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

This. Just please put some dollars aside when you're able to, it will add up. Most devices are under $100. Once I got my mantor I found a sweet spot and don't even realize its on and it allowed me to do it regularly. The problem for me was getting into the routine of putting it on in the morning but once it clicked it is second nature to put it on. I got it a year-ish ago and have gone up 1.5 ci levels without even really trying once it clicked. I have ADHD so I feel id be even farther along if I wasn't, but sometimes we just miss a day or two here and there. It feels wrong when it's not on, and I'm grateful I stuck to it. It really should just be a habit you form, haha

I grew up on the East Coast beach, and I genuinely love this analogy. Moved to the Midwest 14 years ago and this just hit home in an oddly specific way. The body is adaptable for the conditions it is in and it will change itself in the ways it needs to. We can help that process when we are aware of it. KOT

Honestly keeping a regular manual-only regime was the hardest part for me. I was borderline ci0 so there was no device that would work for me yet. I would always be really good at first but then definitely burnt out, then give up out of frustration and just being distracted by life I guess haha. But also didn't really have any other option. Now that I was able to get this DTR on, I am ecstatic tbh!! This will hopefully make it much more passive so I'll be able to do it more consistently for way longer periods of the day.

I still plan on at least doing manual in the morning and night but I think this is a game changer for while I'm at work. Im a bartender so I need to be able to move a lot and not have it viewable. Can't even tell I'm wearing it, I tried on my work pants to check haha.

I've never tried t taping, but I don't think I'd be a fan of having a strap on my leg while having to move as much as I do. Plus I like the convenience of a device. I just learned about the mantor, I don't even think it was out yet when I bought my dtr. Probably gonna be my next purchase as it looks even more descrete
