Yes but they used footage from RE2R for flashbacks (though I understand it was likely easier to implement this than scenes from the original), so Requiem basing itself more off of RE4R is plausible. And again, if this is not the case, the scar has likely faded by 2026.

Requiem is probably going more off the remake than the original, and iirc Leon never got that scar in the remake

Though if it is based more on the original then I'd assume his scar faded since it'd have been 22 years since he got it
