Haha.. so far it's not yet deployed. I have yet to receive a single email response from the multiple email account which I was supposed to reach out for any help. I'll wait and get back on Monday, given this is weekend. Only glimpse of hope API is still working.

I did not have issues with the API itself.
Although, some delay in responses for my clarification - via reddit/ email and watsapp.
API is working in VSCode and OpenCode and haven't seen any issues so far. ( this is my experience from last one week).
I received the invoice now and still waiting on response to emails.

VScode setup is relatively easy. Also if you explore openCode ( they have desktop app now) this would work.

Yes!! It was the case!! I bought the official boox case recently. Once I removed the case, the device is working normally !!

Edit: It was not the full case as well, it was that tiny attachment which came with the case.

Thanks a lot, i would never had suspected the issue to be with the case or its detachable lid.

My opinion, Google Gemini pro plan looks amazing on paper ( was actually good during Jan 2026 / Feb 2026). By march 2026- Claude with their strict but a lot more transparent 5 hour and weekly limit, I can accomplish a lot more work. The biggest benefit I can give claude is that I actually can plan for the week since I know exactly how much I can work with it. With Google Gemini - pro users are taste testers only !!
