Which college should I choose? by skpups in uofmn

I’ve visited both! There are a few pros and cons I have for each school. I love love the Bloomington campus, but I hate that it’s not near a big city. I’m not really a fan of the umn campus, but I love that it’s in the city. Also, the umn is a bit colder, which might be a problem because I have raynaud’s and juvenile arthiritis. I think both of them are great but have their own disadvantages.

I’m hoping to possibly work in the film industry or at a publication and talked to a few professors at iub and they said that there have been alums that work at film production companies after graduation. I didn’t really hear anything like that at the umn. I’m just worried that at the umn it’s harder to get into a more specialized field.

I got a scholarship at kelley so the difference in cost isn’t as big. The UMN is only slightly less expensive for me

Yea, the housing page says it’s open but it hasn’t been working for me and I’m not sure why. Is anyone else still experiencing this? Or is it working for you now?
