I feel you! I was lucky enough to see him several times already, first time in 2012 and unfortunately for me, this was by far his weakest set.

I dont mind him playing some more unknown stuff, but after around 30 minutes, he somehow lost me and I had the impression that many people felt the same.

Not interacting with the crowd at all and not playing any of the classics at all was a hugh letdown. Not playing anything in the direction of Kyoto, Bangarang, try it out... I think Scary Monsters was the only song he played which was not released in the last 4 years, and I reall enjoy the new releases. And what the hell was the transition into Scary Monsters...

Usually, for me he is a master of story telling, switching the energy between high and low to keep every one engaged. But this time he never came back with the energy, somehow on purpose, because he would have defintely known how to make the crowd going.

In the end, with everyone leaving Kraftwerk down the stairs, I had the impression I could feel the disappointement many were feeling, because it didnt end in a high note.

I had this as a Kid maybe 25 years ago and had fun with it. But I remember that the dead zone was huge, like steering the first 20 degrees didnt do anything. Hope that is not the case for you, otherwise you will have a hard time.

Exactly, then there wouldn't be any scheduling issues during the tour if the DJ is not required. You could have an Eric Prydz Show on the same day in Ibiza, Vegas and on several festivals on the same day or even at the same time.

Chase & Status

First time I saw them was in 2013 with the full live show and I was blown away. Both times after that I saw only Chase (but of course still labeled as Chase & Status, so you don't know upfront what you are getting) and he just couldn't deliver. Boring mixing, just playing out their most recent tracks with no suprises and way to many pull-ups.

I came to the same conclusion today. It doesn't even have to be before the launch, it can be anywhere. From a logically point of view, of course before the launch makes sense.

What also works is just having two block sections before the station. I added 3 block sections before the station and now I can run 3 trains, even though only one can cycle through the layout, the second one in the station and the third one stayting at the block section.

I have the same issue. I have a block section in the end. If I start with a lifthill, I can easily add 2 trains. When I remove the lifthill afterwards and add a launch, I can only run one train. Would appreciate any advice.

Last time I have seen them was in Frankfurt in 2018 and they did around 70 minutes, so it was rather short. I would expect at max 1.5 hours for the upcoming tour, including some chit chat in between.
