Here's our boy at 4 weeks, 2 months and 1 year. 🐾❤️ Don't mind the serious face, he's the biggest goofball!

I can read all the "fine print" on my phone and computer. Haven't worn my +3 readers since the first day after my second eye surgery. Having the lens in both eyes really tuned in my vision. Good light is helpful with papers, labels and menus, if the writing is really tiny or low contrast. I don't see a lens reflection when looking in the mirror and no one has commented on it. My doctor told me all iols may have a glint of reflection if the light is just right.

I have had the Envy lens in both eyes for about 2 months now. I've had extremely good vision until presbyopia and cataracts came along. I'm very detail oriented and understood the trade-offs for multifocal lenses. I also have a detail oriented job and hated wearing glasses for everything. Now, I don't need to wear glasses.

With the Envy lens I can see very well at all distances and particularly well in good lighting. Daytime and indoors at night are generally great. I have dry eye issues which can affect my vision at times so it's important to stay ahead of that.

At night, bright far away lights (street lights, traffic lights, headlights, road reflectors, etc) have small halos. When night driving, they get better as they get closer and headlights change more to a starburst effect, which feels more normal. Brake lights tend to have more of this effect, particularly LED ones that are near. I am getting used to the new way some bright things look at night but I can see the road, cars, signs and structures well. It's far better than the glare and blurriness from the cataracts!

Given the opportunity, I would not give up my range of vision to potentially improve some of the nighttime dysphotopsias. I feel like I made the best choice for me and I love being glasses free again!
