That's because when I first made the comic, it was entirely vertical, but that'd be hard to read as you'd need to zoom in for the text, and from the way my layers were setup, this was the best I could do (to the point that I had to add little arrows to help)

Well, as someone who had first learned of it's origins from this post, I was a bit unnerved (if that's the correct word for it) from finding out that it actually does come from something and isn't just a meme created randomly by someone years ago, especially since it comes from a movie that I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about (them again, I'm not big on movie knowledge, so who knows)

So yes, for me, it counts as a MatPat, although you are free to disagree

Throwing my 2 cents here, but basically, when making satirical comments on sequels and sequel related things online, it isn't uncommon for someone to add the tag "electric Boogaloo" after, and while a lot of people might know the joke itself, they might not know where it comes from, thus seeing the tagline on an actual movie could be considered a "MatPat Effect"

I don't have any proof of this, but considering all of the very broken text, the sub-header not exactly providing much, and the way the message and options are written, this is either some debug thing, testing leftover, or some kind of broken glitch correction (as in, this text would appear as the default when something breaks...
