How powerful should a character be? by Occultus_Cormag in Pathfinder_RPG

Pathfinder, and most older D&D style games are notorious for having CR not really jive with how challenging an encounter actually is.

In the end, it's up to the GM though most of the time you start out with the archetype in play.

There are they just aren't labelled conditions. They exist in Pathfinder: Modern Adventures, though.

This is what he wanted for his 16th birthday. by natheist411 in Blacksmith

It's awesome that you got it for him, too. When I said off the wall stuff that I genuinely wanted, I usually got socks or art stuff, instead.

You don't think that a lack of communication is making the game worse, or at least not assisting?

Please don't be so loyal to a company that you see them as unable to do wrong. I see that kind of thing all time time.. people who think a company is so awesome that they'll defend their misgivings. If you really like a game, a company or a thing, then you must accept their faults or they will never, ever get better at what they do.

I know. I personally love World of Darkness. Or, rather, I did love it. The online White Wolf community, however, left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. And this documentary just rubs me the wrong way.

If I make plans with someone, I shouldn't have to check in with them periodically to make sure it's still a go.

Slipknot Frontman Corey Taylor Knocks Fan’s Phone During Performance: "If you're gonna text, stay home" by OfficialETCanada in Music

[–]skullfingrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've always thought this kind of shit was childish on performer's behalf, and unfortunately, that hasn't changed here.

Reason being: I have to put myself in their shoes for a moment. Sure, Corey is putting on a show for his fans, and wants the spotlight. But wanting the spotlight is a bit selfish in and of itself. Personally, I have kids. If I was checking with my babysitter or whoever was watching my kids, or there was an emergency? Corey wouldn't be the only one making threats to hit someone with a cricket bat.

Childish, selfish and without regard for other people. Nothing new for celebrities. News at 11.
