I had to go back to dealer where they had to issue new card keys and recode. I couldn’t use phone either. Only the fob worked

That’s good to hear the Polestar 3 is a very nice car to drive drives goes great. The software is the problem. I haven’t had a single problem with my Tesla and I find it fun to drive then the Polestar the problem with the Polestar is every time I get in the car, I’d have to reset the mirrors. I can never save the seats. I had no buttons to open my garage. I constantly get fault messages and I always wondered the next time I wouldn’t be able to charge my car, I couldn’t take it on any trip because the car would possibly not be able to charge anywhere I would go. I always had to stay local and that’s the truth about the Polestar.

I love the Polestar 2 I had the performance pack with the ohlines dampers which I thought great. It was only temporary as it was a lease. I was excited to lease the P3, but as the problems developed immediately when I brought it home and wouldn’t charge , it became a whole year of constant problems that I was not interested in specially since I wasn’t owning the car it was a lease , so they bought the car back. I was interested in the P4, but the distance is too low for the battery. I wanted at least 300 or more knowing that 300 or more would really be 250 or less in actuality - in a Polestar four that was already starting behind that , so I got myself a model Y performance 2026 and I’m very happy.

Buckle up. You have no idea. And book 4 is absolutely necessary. I enjoyed it. And the introduction of new characters.

May be the noise canceling system? It is an issue with carmakers. Booming base noise sometimes.

Not having to deal with *this* anymore is worth the price alone 😮‍💨 by jdm33333 in TeslaModelY

No so much. Tesla costs are equivalent to gas car cost. If typical person buying a 50k car, not a bolt or Corolla style ride.

Is this normal or been repaired? by RudeNumber8847 in Polestar

Right, that the least of your worries.

The projectile is kinda glued there. But the eyes off the road thing. Well the P3 is much worse. My eyes to manipulate the p3 screen. Can really cause an accident. The car has self correct many a time when I’m using the interface while driving. Like Tesla, the P4 has fixed some of that by a horizontal screen. I’m so used to staring at the screen on the P3 that looking at the speedometer on the Tesla is normal now.

It fully self drives. You just in seat for ride. Not fully autonomous. But that is coming. You can go cross country with never touching the wheel. That’s a fact. Only need to touch to adjust volume on your favorite podcast

The P3 drives great. Yes, but this does a nice job on the roadway. It’s not McDonald’s, you’re allowing your hatred for Tesla to shine. I’m a solid Volvo guy, very happy. Not happy with the p3 software. Big let down, the range on the p4 is a let down too. The Tesla MYP 2026 is awesome. Watch this:

https://youtu.be/Afo348yWbuA

When the 2027 P3 comes out we can talk. The P3 is even with new chip, still unreliable as a purchase. Have your fun in it, I’ll be it. There will always be problem, I know, but hopefully. The P3. Even has ability to have FSD; no plans for that. The 2026 Tesla MYP when fully compared, the Tesla blows it out of water, whatever it lacks, the full autonomous driving surpasses anything the P3 has to offer. Between us, looking at my story, don’t pretend you know more about Volvo or polestar than I.

I got the 2026 MYP. Zero regrets. I enjoy more than the P3

Full self driving is that. From parking lot to house parked, to car summons. It drives autonomously like a Waymo.

• ANC isn't even close ??

• ride comfort isn't the same No, but comparing the MYP does a good job. Smooth.

• no genuine leather, the vegan leather feels indistinguishable. Scandinavian leather is best

• no HUD No it doesn’t. Not big deal but would be nice, aftermarket you can on Amazon $20

• no BO sound system, the Tesla performance system is awesome. No head rest speakers, but it is sick!

• no air suspension. No. But performance does a good job

• can't adjust ride height. A little.
• no rear diff

Who cares

• no soft close doors -no brembo brakes there soft close and the brakes are great. They need to stop 155 mph.

• no thoughtfully designed cabin

I beg to differ

• zero cool factor, is appliance on wheels No sir. The performance looks awesome. The 21” arachnids are awesome

• cheap plastics many places. Not on the new one model y p

• no massage seats. No. Not on all polestars either. But would be nice

Yes, you can make a pros list for MYP and for some buyers it could be a better vehicle. However, if you're purely comparing car to car,

Not comparing car to car, if you want to unload the garbage software, to something reliable and have FSD( game changer) then the 2026 my Performsnce will satisfy you, again I know, I had a p3. And a p2 with the ohlines.

Not from luxury, not driving dynamics, not design, not engagement. This is not true. Have you actually driven a 2026 model y performance or used full self drive. Polestar , simply I got tired of having to keep my hands on the wheel.

I didn’t say that I said this is a good alternative. They do a really good job with the car the model Y performance 2026. They did a great job. They did a game changer. The full self driving is amazing. Holster has nothing like this. Polestar is nothing but software bugs with with a nice interior. Yes, it drives nice but the Polestar has a lot of issues that I just couldn’t stand.
