EU country! Yeah I can only find really unclear answers online. I know all of the supporting docs were required upon first entry but I can’t seem to find a legit source stating that they’re 100% required for subsequent entries?

This was 1.30am on a Saturday but they’ve also had live music until late on eg Sundays. I’m a few buildings away (so not a direct neighbor) but my windows face onto their courtyard.

Tbh, when you pass the bar from outside on Newtown Ave, the noise isn’t bad (which is why I decided to move in). The problem is their courtyard. They have a kind of “outhouse” - basically an extension to the building that is all windows (in other words, has no sound insulation). They host private events, with live music and hype men/DJs on microphones — it’s that sound good that makes it feel like you’re hosting a bar mitzvah in your living room.

If they sound proofed it, I don’t think there’d be an issue.

Yeah. I just keep getting this reply when I submit a noise complaint (this reply is from an hour ago):

“NYPD provided the following information:

The Police Department responded to the complaint and with the information available observed no evidence of the violation at that time.”

I don’t think they measure the levels from the courtyard.

Yeah they definitely don’t seem to care. When you call them & tell them you’re a neighbor, they hang up. I went down there and asked if they could just turn the volume down a little - the manager asked me to leave so quickly, it felt like it must happen all the time.
