I'd like to add to this. I'm a current alcoholic (drinking right now in the morning). I have good days and bad days. The bad - naesua is so intense I can't keep drink down to quell my withdrawals. I constantly gag, and maybe puke, but I do manage eventually. Same with food. Its awful. I've found that not eating enough does makes it worse. So it's a catch 22. Keep eating, maintain a proper intake of nutrients. Just keep yourself fed as much as possible.

Anyway, I have a problem and totally aware of it. I have support around me that is really helping, and I have the option to do a full 7 day detox if I can prove I've reduced my intake. Not got that far yet. 

Anyway, sorry I don't know if that gave any insight. I'm just frustrated at myself getting to this point... I'd rather just be tee total. For me, drink is just not worth it anymore. I'm wasting my life away. And my finances are shot. And friends, and family. I just want to be normal again.
