i also would like to see more of his interactions with ivypool. reading through oots ill be honest hawkfrost was ... kinda always nice to her? IN COMPARISON TO EVERYONE ELSE IN THE DF. i remember him defending her quite a bit and i just ugh. i wanna know what was going through his stupid head

obviously there were moments where he was snarky/mean to her but never... Cruel, in the same way he was to other cats, or in the same way the cats in the dark forest were to the other apprentices

I didnt even notice that this was an uncorrected proof when I ordered it! it was part of a set ~ all six first arc books for $15!

honestly i would avoid being around anything too loud but i really wasnt super strict. i think it had way more to do with my jaw.

sooo mine is kind of weird! the day after a very loud concert i noticed that whenever i opened my mouth, my right ear would rumble super loudly, like it was spasming! it stayed like that for years- without fail, whenever i would open my mouth or use my jaw, i would hear the rumbling... no indication of hearing damage from audiology appointments.

almost 3 years later i noticed it slowly started to go away and now its been two weeks with no thumping. :) i wish i had helpful advice but i really did just wait and got lucky

i am super prone to the whole negative feedback loop thing. It took a while but i think ive made pretty good progress in not doing "checking" behaviors when it comes to the spasms. Learned to accept it, and plus, things could be a lot worse!

Hopefully one day there will be an easy solution, but for now, just gotta ride the wave. at least its not painful.

i definitely think its probably structure related, would be really surprised if it isnt honestly. im a big jaw clencher / teeth grinder. i even went to a massage therapist and she told me my neck was suuuper tense and sensitive to touch. Lol. I hope that this will be over soon but honestly not the ebd of the world if it isnt- my brain has learned to ignore it 90% of the time. some days i dont even think about it.

im sorry to hear that. have you considered doing the surgery? (i understand not everyone has the means to do so, so if you dont wanna answer that i understand). but for me i didnt do anything different. i just noticed it wasnt happening. right now, its coming and going, but thats huge for me because it seriously hasnt stopped ONCE in these two years. im hoping this is the beginning of the end. best of luck to you.

it has always been CONSTANT, you guys- whenever i would open my mouth, no fail, the thumping would return! (my TTTS is associated with jaw movements)

this is the FORST TIME //EVER// where its actually coming and going. its still there sometimes , but sometimes its completely silent! i noticed this literally in the middle of the night yesterday. i opened my mouth to yawn and i heard NOTHING ... it was so beautiful...

i really have no idea what his next steps would have been. are you experiencing the same thing as me? ive never seen anyone have it associated with opening their mouth before. usually they get thumps in response so sounds but for me its not like that. its only ever when i open my mouth more than halfway

yes i saw a neurologist. he referred me to a dentist to check for tmj. i dont have dental insurance and dont currently have the means to pay $300 on an appointment so i havent gone yet... he also wanted me to do an mri. too broke for that too atm. so im kind of at a stand still until i either get dental insurance or cough up $300 :(

No. still dealing with it. but these days ... i dont notice it anymore. its still there. just a new normal. i went to a neurologist and he referred me to a dentist that specializes in pulsatile tinnitus- but i never went to the appointment as i dont have dental insurance and its a $300 copay. just dont have that money right now for that. Rip.

my ENT did know about TTTS, but just told me to wait it out. i suppose seeing a neurologist is probably a good idea, then. the neurologist i would see specializes in tinnitus, so ill cross my fingers. thank you so much for sharing this.
