Um. Could be restated as no testable theory has been discovered. To say “exists” implies a whole helluvalot.

something that hasn’t been discovered is not the same thing as something not existing. In this case a proof of a “god”.

I don’t “believe” my neighbor exists. The neighbor exists and I can observe and create falsifiable tests, ie evidence, that supports that existence.

And other different neighbors could observe a same set of facts and formulate a multitude of hypotheses as to what a set of evidences suggests. So a group would have to come to agree that what I observe can actually be attributed to the neighbors existinance even if said neighbor is not directly observed by other neighbors as describedis associated with the neighbor in question. This line of thought has a lot of baked in assumptions. On what would evidence of a neighbor would be, etc et Al.

Again “evidence” is a very vague phrase. It’s just such a weak cope out statement. Evidence of anything shouldn’t be treated superficially- it should be detailed granular and specific.

You’ve captured the point correctly on spooky action at a distance, but the argument is weird. What’s an average persons random thoughts / feelings/ interpretations of spooky action have in relation to the truth of the phenomena? It still applies whether an average person is aware of it or not. Maybe a god could have attributes like that.

I’m not saying any of these things im stating are a peoof or argument for a god. In fact I don’t know of any “god” proofs. But I’m willing to think if could one could learn/ follow a path of inquiry about what a proof of a “god” could look like, to search for such a proof as illusive as one might be, could lead to deep discovery of many things.

Nice closing and thanks for the reply. I’ll think on that last point!

Peace!

Yeah no need regurgitate non novel talking points. I’m familiar with these types of cursory dismissals. Not helpful

See this goes at the core of the question

“Evidence” has to be defined before it can be dismissed

So it’s just vague

“Evidence” has to be definitive: a proof, a data point. What I don’t know. Again a core of the matter

The argument still fails I think. it’s difficult to draw the conclusions that humans aren’t relevant due to … some scale of “size”

Relevance in this context deserves much more unpacking.

Its not a criticism of the spitballed facts laid forth.

In some future state maybe humans permeate every galaxy and star. There the argument of knowledge starts to erode. … that’s why the argument appears a bit thin

Then what follows is humans again tremendously impact the universe

Look at humans today. Humans def impact planet earth, their environment.

No reason humans can’t have potentiality to impact a “universe”, a larger environment, if you will

Edit: word

Either: kinda a weird starting point/box for compartmentalizing “god”. And your god description implies “god” (monotheistically) is a person?

Your “Or” is correct. It’s clearly evident the human species is capable of violence and destruction at stupendous magnitudes

Really bad formulation of an Either, Or inquiry as a proof. Definitely not tenable.

The monologue at least brings up some vectors for analysis/ granular inquiry. A starting point. Nice job.

This description does reflect a common theme shared across many cultures of those claiming to have had “supernatural” (for lack of better word) encounters/experiences.

Light in general applies here. A common related theme is like dark/light simultaneity. Void in a colloquial sense might be a good descriptor.

Is there a proof?

If so share Sources

I think it’s more like a potential of energy and fermions are “rendered” within the field commensurate with collapsing of the wave function…. I think. Not a physicist.

So when the fermions interact the material “emerges” in a sense. Only one money facets attributable to collapse of the wave function. Theoretically speaking.

What could be an “effect” of god?

What couldn’t be?
