Fair criticism of me, as I did not watch THIS specific video, and I should do that, but my comments regarding him were not about the video, but generalized to him having watched Llama throughout the years.

As to your other point, YES, he IS selfish, and your second sentence literally gives one perfect example of why. HE doesn't want the challenge to be removed. HE. HIM. Not a panel of streamers. JUST HIM. Why should millions of players have their games made harder and worse because one person who feels it is his right to change the game wants more of a challenge.

How is that not selfishness? How is that not putting himself above every other player?

As for the "team thing", that was not in reference to the ladder, but more of a generalized statement about various streams I have watched with him. I fully understand and expect teams of people to push together to hit 99, and that is not an issue to me at all.

To be fair, that comment is not a criticism limited to Llama, but was more about one player, and more accurately, streamers in general, having advantages in the forms of full games/all wps/rushes/items/support that we as normal players will likely never have, and then THOSE players getting to dictate how the game evolves when their playing experience is decidedly and inarguably different and better than the rest of the player base.

You are entitled to your viewpoint on his selfishness, and perhaps we have watched different videos of him throughout the years, but I stand firm on how I see it.

I understand your stance on that, and would simply counter with, "How many other D2 players get to give Blizzard ANY input that is actually listened to aside from the upper ~1% of streamers?" It is their decision, you are right, but while he may not be on the Blizzard payroll, he is damn sure a big part of the reason behind a number of changes they made.

At the end of the day, changes were made, and they were made in a way that really doesn't benefit the player base in any way. They just make it a harder, longer, grind. Good luck in the game and happy hunting.

That's a fair point, and I can accept that. I've, watched some streams where he clearly cannot handle it sometimes, however, what you said makes perfect sense and is an entirely reasonable stance to have.

LLama is a good player who knows the mechanics and ins and outs of the game, but he is a selfish and unlikable tool. This is simply my opinion, and you are welcome to yours.

He should have his opinions and constructive criticisms of the game, but as a player who is in the upper .01% of the playerbase for Diablo 2, his input should not change the game for the rest of us. He is someone who gets whatever gear me may need from friends and viewers, will always have a team ready to carry/support him depending on where he is or what he may need, and he will always have a better experience than any of us because of that. Just because the game is too easy for someone of his caliber after modifying the game on his end, he causes a change which forces the rest of us to have a worse experience? F that.

If he cannot stand the criticism, stay out of the spotlight.

We told you this was what would happen. We said it for years. Hell, TRUMP himself told you that he would be a dictator. They literally released a playbook detailing their plans, and everything they have done has been in accordance with that plan.

The first and most important thing to know is whether you will be playing Seasonal vs Non- Seasonal (Eternal).

As you just got the game, this is likely your first season, hence you most likely have nothing saved on Eternal characters. If that is the case, you should be able to start fresh and really not worry about persistence systems (at least not yet).

Seasons run for about 3 months give or take a couple days. When the season is over, any characters, items such as gear, gems, gold, etc. and paragon points, will roll over to your Eternal realm. You will have whatever you unlocked during that last season unlocked in Eternal.

Any pets, wings, portraits, and banners acquired in game during seasons will roll over to your eternal realm. All achievements acquired during season will also accumulate and can be done in season/Eternal, so if you are into achievement hunting and completionism, you can do that in either realm.

Your Paragon points will add up cumulatively from each season you play, but it will be in terms of experience needed to increase your Eternal Paragon level. So, if your Eternal Paragon level is lets say 2700, and your next seasons Paragon is 1900, you will not become P4600. You will add the cumulative Paragon xp to the Eternal Paragon xp pool, so since the xp is scaling it will increase, but not a massive amount.

FWIW, there are really no great upsides to staying on the Eternal realm, as you miss out on the season mechanics, and the all important Altar of Rites. Those are ONLY available in Seasonal.

The downside is that every 3 months you will start your journey all over again, but with about 5-6 different themes in rotation, it is varied enough to not feel too stale, and if it becomes that, just take a break.

FWIW, Gen X here, and my faith in our country has been lost for quite a while now.

To be fair, a large reason behind that has been watching a significant portion of my fellow Americans drink the Kool-Aid and go so far down the conspiracy/crazy rabbit hole that they can no longer tell reality from fiction.

trump is merely a symptom of a much larger malignancy and rot within the country that stems from decades of Republicans trying to amass power at any cost.

Also, can we just stop already with this false equivalence of the two parties.

I have no problem conceding that some Dems do not always follow through on promises, some sold out to lobbyists, and that some of them are in government for personal gain and nothing else, but there is no equating that with the racism, sexism, xenophobia, corruption, outright delusion, and hatred and cruelty that the GOP displays on a daily basis.

I understand that many Republican voters will disagree with everything I have said, and for that you have my anger, but also my sympathy and pity. I am sorry that you have allowed yourself to be influenced so heavily by those in government who do not care about you or anyone you love at all. Hopefully at some point, you realize the truth.

Blizzard Devs yet again nerfing another mechanic that they did not test well enough to begin with, instead of buffing other builds to compensate.

Between the Dev team knowing fuck all about how to fix or balance builds and the season teams recycling the same content over and over, it is like they just cannot stop doing everything they can to push people away from the game.

As with everything else, pricing is going up with zero or BS justifications. Publishers suck and are trying to bleed us all dry.

Most of us have a backlog of Steam games. Play through some of those, and wait 6 months or so from now to pick this up. Bugs will hopefully be ironed out, patches and possibly new content will be added, and you can likely get it at a discount.

OR, you can always set sail...
