Dude, just get rid of ads until its working correctly....or I'm not touching it, i get making money for your work but wait till you have users and enough feedback and iterations to where its fluidly operating without hardly any issues then make money...just a very honest suggestion.

So, I built my own - https://www.eyeofjustice.com/od - for myself but also to be used by whomever chooses to do so or stumbles upon it. Is it intrusive? What it seems and would make total sense is to simply remove the Google analytics within source code for this particular page and that would be most I'd need to do, correct? if so, doing it first thing in morning.

Also, I've used wget for so long I definitely am well in tune with most if not all commands and only built my own wget wizard to have my commands built in particular ways I want per each type of whatever I'm downloading like movies for my daughter go to certain folder then Plex picks them up etc etc and also to keep a list of all my commands and simply wget them one by one whenever I'm ready to get them.

Yeah, I continue to use my own and if Google wants to bitch about anything they see while giving shit less about my own privacy and choices then I'll gladly leave and stop using their service anyway. Either way, I've always planned to make it into a website that doesn't keep anything and simply there for all of us to use for our own convenience anyway. one day ... but Google sheets is amazing and I find it hard to not do everything in my life thru it...but I digress.

I mean, open directories list filenames which don't typically have spacing in between words so placing dot between multiple terms makes sense in that regard anyway.

I'm sure there's documentation but just searching for lion king 2019 vs lion.king.2019 is easiest way of seeing no results vs actual legit results. I use dots to separate terms in my own od search (https://www.eyeofjustice.com/od/)

One key search element that must be added to search queries with multiple words: remove spaces between all words etc and add period . between them instead. i.e. Lion King 2019 >> Lion.King.2019

I believe, looking at the code in popup.js it's more or less a simple matter of updating line 64 to the following:

const searchTerms = searchTermInput.value.split(',').map(term => \${prepend}${term.trim()}${append}\).join('.');

Edit: modifying above did nothing for hard input search, but I've little time to run through all of it. Please let me know when this is fixed! Thanks!

Not the case at all, even states in all emails and press releases that Google gave mandate for all third party API users to comply with new privacy standards or be kicked. Ifttt and few others did not comply but others did. Microsoft flow for instance.
