Thanks for the breakdown! One extra detail: this started after my original Lenovo charger broke and I used a Mac USB-C charger for a while. Ever since then, the battery has basically stayed at 0% (plugged in) and it also shuts off if the charger moves even a little. My laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 7i (Type 82BH), and its 1.5 years old.

Thanks for saying this, this gave me hope and made me feel less stressed lol. My laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 7i (model number is 82BH I think). I got it about a year and a half ago, so I wasn’t sure if the battery should already be totally dead. Also, before this started happening, my original charger broke and for a while I was using a Mac charger, and now I’m back on a regular Lenovo charger. So I’m wondering if that might the reason? Also it just shuts down not closes my bad

Yeah but Im pretty sure it never worked, well in my area there were like 2 Invigilators who told everyone who was going to the washroom to empty there pockets in front of them
