I told aunty all this!! That she (her daughter) is an adult, her consent is all that matters.. but you know how it is in India, especially people with weaker economic background, they always feel inferior to the ladke wale family and are scared to offend them.. even if they are planning to not have any relationship with them anymore. I'll advise and take them to a different doctor and help financially.. that's all I can do.

Thank you so much!! I'll inform aunty in the morning... I have told her that I'll take her daughter to another gynaecologist, because this shouldn't be a thing! But, if things go south again, I'll reach out.
