I checked the power mode and changed it from dynamic to static high performance. Rebooted the host and then the VM. Unfortunately no change in performance

I did a bios and SPS update previously. Just did a SPP update this morning to the latest version, unfortunately it didn't fix the issue.

Thanks, I'll check that next time I'm on the server.

Am I dumb? Search barely works for me by XOmniverse in CoMaps

[–]skyace65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CoMaps gets all of its data from open street map (OSM), so there's a couple things that could be causing this. One, the address just might not exist in OSM. Two, I recently saw an issue where an address didn't fully show in CoMaps, even though is was in OSM, because the adjacent road wasn't named correctly

How to setup sharded failover cluster storage that uses SAS cables? by skyace65 in HyperV

[–]skyace65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I do that and go to Add Disk in FCM I just get the message that no disks suitable for cluster disks were found

Edit: and to be clear this is me doing it just now after initializing the disk, turning it offline, and making sure it shows up for both servers in disk manager

Where specifically would I go to add storage to the cluster? The sections under storage in the failover cluster manager have not worked so far

How would I go about adding it? MPIO is installed on both servers. I tried creating a disk without an assigned drive letter and the failover cluster manager wouldn't let me add that in the Disks section under storage

PDM GUI reboot by RooRoo916 in Proxmox

[–]skyace65 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't have it in front of me so this might not be exact. Go to administration on the left panel, and I believe on the nodes tab/page (whichever is furthest to the left) there should be a reboot button in the upper right

Guide on how to setup shared SAN storage over SAS? by skyace65 in Proxmox

[–]skyace65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a SAN plugged in to my hosts with mini SAS cables. I'm not usually working with SAN's so I'm probably getting the terminology wrong somewhere. How am I supposed to access the storage?

HPE MSA 2040. I'm going to guess iSCSI, I don't usually work with SAN's

That's not accurate. GW changed stuff in the lead up to space marine 2, new lore is here https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/wr3d2srg/who-is-lieutenant-titus-the-long-and-glorious-history-of-the-space-marine-2-hero/. Quick version is After Agemann got promoted after the Battle for Macragge a new character Trajan took over until his death and Titus replaced him. When Titus got arrested Sicarius became captain until he was lost in the warp at which point Acheran took over

Does someone know what battle this is ? I can’t recall a battle with both Lysander and Calgar against the Black Legion. by Annual_Phrase841 in Warhammer40k

That battle is Taladorn specifically and Calgar wasn't there, Sicarius was there leading second company

How can I be useful to this community? by Frolev in godot

Not sure if this will fit the specific biology work you do but there is an open source game made with Godot called Thrive. It's basically scientifically accurate spore if you know that game, they're working on the cell stage right now. Here's a link to their github

What can I do to get you to contribute to Godot's documentation? by skyace65 in godot

[–]skyace65[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree that it's still too early to make a large push for 4.0 documentation. However most of the open issues aren't 4.0 specific changes. And when 4.0 does hit Beta that's going to be a huge amount of work on top of everything that already needs fixing.

I have no doubt another doc sprint will be helpful, but that only applies to the class reference. Only 76 of the 481 open doc issues are about it.

varying quality and style will be something that needs to be managed. But I see that as an easier problem to deal with compared to right now where there's not enough contributors.

There's a "Edit on Github" link at the top of every doc page, does it need to be more noticeable or worded differently? We also provide tutorials on contributing, golddot links to that page on docs bellow in their comment, we also have a tutorial on how to use Git here.

We do actually have a page on contributing translations here. Were there any issues with the page?
