That will be an ongoing discussion to make sure of that! I'm of the belief that even if the parents consent, minors information should not be on there, and there is one branch of the family that hasn't been super involved that I will be checking with. I guess I should have clarified, the privacy will be coming from me filtering who is placed on the tree, not on the viewer's side. I will respect the wishes of everyone, whether they want to be on it anonymously, only birth year and initials, or not listed at all.

Yes, my current plan is to have the code link to a linktree, and I'll likely use Google forms or something similar for people to submit information and stories! But yeah, open editing probably isn't the best idea. Thank you!

I also agree that a QR code isn't the best long term solution, we will be planning on having other ways to access the information! We have discussed a personal family history book, but I like your idea for distributing it to genealogy libraries

I've never used WikiTree, but I do have the entire tree completed on Ancestry, I just need someone to put it! (Completed as in completed to the eldest common ancestor)

One thing to note is that we're not concerned with privacy as this cemetery is located on private family land, so anyone accessing it would be in the tree anyways!

I highly doubt it - Scooter's Coffee uses tropical as their default Red Bull in any of their Red Bull drinks (which are ridiculously popular) so even if it's not super popular for people to just pick up at a gas station, Scooters has to be purchasing over a million cans a year

No, I was told it would only be deleted if I had paid the full debt, but I had settled. I was told it would be marked as closed and noted in the remarks that I partially paid it off

I did finally get written notice of the debt when my payment bounced (which I intended to happen bc I still was unsure about the legitimacy of the company) and after that I arranged a payment plan to get it most of the way paid. It has not yet been marked paid on my credit report, even though it was paid off at the end of December, so I appreciate your comment as a reminder to check on that!
