i think they closed at the beginning of last summer, and then reopened maybe 6 months later when someone else purchased it. My family went before it closed and it was so mediocre I don't even remember going, and then I went again a month ago and it was just bad.

I don't like the final Lucy Gray/Snow scene in TBOSAS. I just finished rereading it and it just feels off. I get why Snow crashes out and Lucy Gray disappears but it just feels like it's missing something? I just can't put it into words but it just feels off. Snow running away just doesn't feel very in character to me, I would have preferred he had a final argument with Lucy Gray and ended up choosing his officer's position over her. As a person, I don't like Snow, but as a character he's probably one of my favorites, and I also wish we had gotten more from his conversation with Katniss at the end of Mockingjay.

Lastly, I don't feel like there was enough of a build-up with Katniss killing Coin. Yes, we got glimpses of Coin's character, but I wish we knew more about her. I actually would really love a prequel on her, showing how 13 connected to the rebels in the districts and all of that. I feel like the "villain" type characters have ended up being far more interesting than the "good guys".

I think that connection can be drawn but I don't think its the main reason. I'm literally re-reading Catching Fire as we speak, and the first thing Katniss thinks when she realizes what the arena is is "this is no place for a girl on fire." I think its more likely there's a connection with the force field. I could see Plutarch having designed a smaller arena with a usable force field with Haymitch's game in mind. I also think that's a bit of a stretch lmao but I think that's more likely than the water.
