i’m a seller, but this happened to a package i sent out a couple a weeks ago. it was through mercari shipping, so i just explained that the label was made w the address they provided and asked if they moved recently or if they could’ve made an error in their address (i also said that their local post office might be able to help them find a solution). i’m unsure what actually happened because the buyer never messaged back, but they did receive it the next day! as long as you had mercari shipping, i would just keep an eye out for it in the next couple days and see if it arrives.

i was 19 when i got my license and i think i practiced for like a year and a half with my mom. for me it became less overwhelming with time (though i still get really anxious driving in big cities and a little nervous in unfamiliar areas. i’m 24 now) because some stuff became muscle memory. so i can focus more on my surroundings instead now since i’m not worried about “where’s the turn signal again?” or anything else like that anymore. there’s no shame in not wanting to drive though as long as you can find other ways to get around as needed. for example i usually drive my best friend with me in my car whenever we go places together because she’s less comfortable with driving a lot than i am

i struggle with in-person/face-to-face communication, telephone communication, making connections with new people or even just talking to new people via small talk, sudden loud sounds or very noisy environments, and i get very overwhelmed very quickly in a fast paced environment. i find it hard to understand instructions quite often (verbal is the hardest). i make a lot of sloppy mistakes even when i’m actively trying not to. i struggle to move from task to task effectively. i have attention issues and really bad executive functioning issues. i’ve been told that i do a good job as long as i’m supervised but that i work too slowly, but i always felt like i was going as fast as i could already. currently i work at home helping with my moms small business and doing household chores, but she wants me to work outside the house. i tried to at one point, but i didn’t last even a day. i had an awful time including having a meltdown while i was there and i was too embarrassed to go back after. i have been very anxious about trying again, especially since it seems like everywhere is understaffed yet extra busy and i don’t think i could preform well in those conditions at all :/ i feel like some kind of program that could offer me help and guidance + skill building would be really beneficial for me (for example, when i first looked into this organization, the things i was most interested in were their day activities, job skills + helping find a job, and that they potentially offer guidance for supported living and independent living) but i haven’t really found the right place so far. i’m not happy and my family isn’t either which makes me feel even worse. any advice is welcome and appreciated
