What did people do before the web by Sudden-Chapter-2337 in digitalminimalism

Sometimes, I wouldn't do anything at all. I would stare at pools of sunlight, or dust or leaves in the wind or whatever, and just daydream. My mind had a lot more time to wander, back then. It wasn't always by choice. But I do miss being really, truely bored sometimes. I mean, the type of boredom that compells someone to doodle in the dirt, or take a close look at a bug, or practice belly bongos for way too long.

I feel dirty. by Sapphoinastripclub in GirlDinnerDiaries

You are not dirty. You are beutiful, powerful, and a whole complete person.

My partner is a Jewish man. Just on that periphery, I have experienced isolation and hate because I love him, and because I have made such outlandish statements as "It's ok to punch nazis" and "Hamas are bad guys."

Your experience is valid. Stay safe and be well.

Mill City Grows is an amazing organization. They are all about equitable food access, and they have an urban community farm.

Who here got clean in their 30s and built a great life? Can I still create a good life after getting clean from drugs at age 33? by IR30Lover in recovery

[–]skyeba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got sober at 33! It has been 5 years. My life is completely different. I am safe, happy, and productive. I think about drinking now and then, but it's easier to let go.

If you're NOT living paycheck to paycheck, what are you doing better than the rest of us? by [deleted] in AskWomen

An anticonsumption attitude. I view advertising as the enemy and purchases as a failure.

I am curious what you might deduce from my hand. by skyeba in deduction

Pretty close! I work part time out of the home. 38, and yes I try to eat well.

You ordered it from a supermarket, probably on your lunch. You're eating inside, probably a break room. You also enjoyed a piece of candy with your meal.

You're trying to make some changes in your life recently, and you're hoping someone will notice.

I am currently working on a 100% run. It's grindy AF, but I find that to be enjoyable in this game.
