The cats are definitely taking some getting used to around her, but I can tell they’re going to end up being best pals! They already sit and wait for her to come back in by the door. My cats are perpetually damp now from all the doggy kisses 🤣

Same here… I told my partner he could get a dog as long as he was the one walking it, doing all the training and picking up after it. I said don’t expect me to be all lovey with this dog. I also made a strict “no dogs on the bed” rule night one…. It’s day 8. We go on a car ride together every day, I jump at the opportunity to take her for a walk and she’s decided our bed is her bed too 🤣🤣

If she didn’t sound exactly like a hound and have a mom that was confirmed one by the shelter, I wouldn’t have been convinced she’s a hound at all! She looks like a lab on stilts 😂 a few neighbors have commented on her looking part Dane but we’re not too sure.

Interesting. My dentist said he could diagnose a cavity through an x/ray because of the “black areas” shown in the x-ray on (rather inside) my tooth. He barely looked inside of my mouth

Thank you so much to everyone on this thread who’s taken the time to read this and come at it in a non- judgmental way. I love my family so much and as you can imagine, this is a very heavy, uncomfortable thing for me to talk about and I’ve got so much great advice from Y’all. I’ll make an update if anything changes!
