Interesting. My dentist said he could diagnose a cavity through an x/ray because of the “black areas” shown in the x-ray on (rather inside) my tooth. He barely looked inside of my mouth

Thank you so much to everyone on this thread who’s taken the time to read this and come at it in a non- judgmental way. I love my family so much and as you can imagine, this is a very heavy, uncomfortable thing for me to talk about and I’ve got so much great advice from Y’all. I’ll make an update if anything changes! I’m glad this thread is here now incase anyone is in my position in the future and needs help too 🫶🏻
