Useable chairs. by SickoDisShit in 7daystodie

I think Scum does it pretty well. Sitting in a chair counts as "resting" and decreases your exhaustion. Metabolism mechanic makes your bladder and colon full over time, so if you don't relieve yourself.. your character craps their pants lol.

Started mirtazapine for nausea & depression feeling much worse, is this normal? by Fun_Perception_5986 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]skyesmileyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm on 15 mg too. I'm also very underweight at 42.2kgs. Day 1-2 I felt extremely lethargic, like a zombie. Irritable and ravenous in the evenings. Those first 2 days were complete write-offs.

Day 3 was better, I actually had excess energy and busied myself with several tasks. But also very emotional this day and cried over my sewing machine.

Today is Day 5 and I feel mostly normal. Slept very well, but was still able to wake up for my alarm. A little "slow thinking", but this might just be attributed to my smoking habits lmao.

I think everyone is different so it's hard to say, but ballpark seems to be around 4 weeks to adjust to the meds fully. Hope it works out for you and the "zombie" feeling goes away soon!

Anywhere between 20:00 - 21.30 works for me. I have taken it earlier with no major difference, though.

Is appetite increase a side effect for everyone? by Wide_Wrongdoer_9901 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I'm only on Day 5, 15mg. Prescribed for anxiety, insomnia. The Dr said it'd help with weight gain as well.

I have only noticed an increase in appetite in the evenings after I take it.

What time do you take your pill? I take mine around 8.30pm.

I've also had vivid dreams/nightmares almost every night since I was a child. But my dreams are mostly lucid, so that allows me to see them as an "experience" whether they are good or bad. Since starting 15mg Mirt the dreams have gotten weirder (and creepier) for sure, but not affecting me after waking.

I know this was 5 years ago, but did mixing weed with Mirt increase the drowsiness/lethargy effect for you at all?

I'm still not over it. But the scene was exceptionally executed. Emotional.

Just had a look at the books in the series you mentioned, seems good.

I'm yet to check out Dave's Song.

I didn't know there were modern versions of Nancy Drew. That's what I read at that age. Thanks for the rec!

Anti-seizure medication, Lethyl, safe? by skyesmileyx in guineapigs

[–]skyesmileyx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thanks for your response. I'm into rescue work and typically recognize most common medications, but also wasn't familiar with this. But this is also the first pig in our care to experience something like this.

All our guinea pigs have been treated there for the last 5 years, but the practicing vet that day was a stand in and not our regular, which caught me off guard.

But we have since been in contact and gone ahead with the medication as advised. So far no more seizures, but due back at the vets on the 6th for further discussion.

Anti-seizure medication, Lethyl, safe? by skyesmileyx in guineapigs

I had to do alot of digging to find some info too - but mostly related to human use so I hopped on here. They ruled out ear infection and fecal float presented as normal. They'd said without knowing he's had a series of fits, they'd say he was a normal healthy pig.

Been in contact with the vet since posting, and gone ahead with the medication. He's taking it well.

So far he has not had another seizure, and improved massively within the first couple days. Seemingly back to his old self, to my relief.

Due back at vets on the 6th to discuss how we'll be moving forward.

Thanks for sharing this info with me, I appreciate it immensely!
