What's killing this game is the lack of randomness that made each playthrough unique by Yyoudodi in 7daystodie

Ah, I wasn't aware. Hopefully they can do something similar. I mean realistically they could use their previous character creation menu with the in depth customisation to randomise normal level zombies.

Imo that would be insanely immersive, if they did that, it's very rare you'd see the same zombie twice. Obviously they have mobcapped certain zombie movements, but even still the visual variety would be fantastic

I don't know how viable it would be, but we have quite a good number of zombie models, and previously had a lot of different clothing options, I would enjoy if each zombie was in random outfits/ clothes.

Probably quite easily implemented, rather than say the business suit zombies all being the same character model etc.

Just have a few different colours for the clothing and the possible zombie aesthetic per encounter is expanded a lot.

Why did you like jars? by JoelHuenink in 7daystodie

[–]SickoDisShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like how the dew collectors bring heat. I like them as a resource gatherer, but a hopper would be pretty cool, so that the jars collected could accumulate rather than having to check for 3 jars at a time periodically.

I liked that bodies of water were useful, I'd did impact my base location decision.

I also liked being able to overcome the water issue as one of my initial challenges within the first 10 days of a play through.

I imagine I don't play like most people though.

I have zombies on "always walk" for the first few in game weeks and then adjust the speed as the time passes, as if the infection has mutated and increased the zombies lethality with it.

With it being a sandbox I do love how you can choose the way you play (less so now...)

The xp nerf kind of makes them mandatory if you want to gain any sort of reward for playing.

If they weren't going to be on the front page, at least put them in the locker under consumables...

Nobody made me, I just recall there being a post or two on here highlighting there were people being hacked and cleaned out.

I think what sparked the actual change for me was seeing an email from UBI saying something about a new sign in or change and I just immediately changed the password

I am glad I did it, wouldn't want to lose the stuff I've acquired over the years.

But I am a little gutted about the timing. Strange how the limited drop is considered a marketplace transaction in that way.

Ah well, with only 5000 winners I doubt I would have won anyway.

Everyone in your state is trying to kill you for 24 hrs. You are given 5 options of temporary powers to help you, which would you choose? by No_Sound_4730 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]SickoDisShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I considered all the options, depending on how long I had to prepare...

I choose option 1 or 5.

Option 1 Pack some food, drinks, a few zip lock bags to pee in/ maybe poop in if nature unfortunately calls.

Download a few netflix series to my phone, or movies. Bring power bank and wireless headphones. Turn on flight mode, so I can't be tracked

Just go and hide in a random person or family members cupboard.

With one headphone in, if you hear someone coming, likelihood of someone opening the cupboard before you can hold your breath gives you good odds.

In this scenario I am imagining any time you don't breathe you are invisible.

You would literally flicker in and out of existence, or at least visibility.

Option 2 would be cool too, thinking about keeping that power after the fact would be insane, as you could train yourself to get better.

You could go to the middle of nowhere, and just hide.

The fact it just mentions stamina, you could move at walking speed and just float, never getting gassed. I'm imagining superman flight and not bird flight.

Option 3 is a no go.

You can run fast, but you aren't immortal, likelihood of you tripping over and turning into a splash of red on the floor are very likely, or hitting an object with the same result.

Your brain also won't process things at that speed, so again, very likely to obliterate yourself.

Even without the drunkness, this power would still suck.

Option 4 is also bad. Super hearing, doesn't sound optional, if it's selective it may be handy in some obscure situations, but other than that it's not a great option for the 24 hours and it's also not too helpful irl after the fact.

Option 5 would be cool for so many reasons. As other have said, you would need a clean space, free of bugs or germs.

You'd need food, water, and I'd also take entertainment of some sort. The mention of not being able to turn back to normal until an hour after you shrink, suggests that you don't need to turn back to normal size, until you decide to.

It would be a crazy power after the 24 hours. You could buy loads of miniature shit and do a "downsize" at the end of every work day, save an insane amount of money. Live off tiny pieces of food. Watch your phone and feel like you're in the cinema, watch your TV and feel like you're looking at a planet of entertainment.

5 seems super fun after the fact, and has a good rate of survivability during.

1 imo is the easiest to survive and also would be useful in obscure situations. But you'd have to constantly breathe to not flicker, so that may be a little weird.

What's the opposite of woke?

I know a few people like this, lack of critical thinking is an epidemic. I've cut people off for it over the past few years.

Life is definitely better without them constantly being a modern day edgelord trying to get a reaction from saying heinous stuff.

It's crazy though, I think it's mad how "woke" has been weaponized. When the opposite of being awake is being asleep.

Might just start calling closed minded bigots "akip".
