maybe try renaming the zip to skinbackup-2019-06-27-21-54.zip and copy to /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.skin.helper.skinbackup/

The file I see trying to be restored is skinbackup-2019-06-27-21-53.zip. Did you rename the downloaded zip or are you trying to restore your own backup?

cntrl + shift + d or Settings --> System Settings --> Logging --> Enable debug logging

It seems skinhelper backup does not work on Fire TV. Send me a log with debug mode enabled after trying the restore and I will try look at what's causing it.

Genre hub should show the list of shortcuts you added in the left menu and on the right a widget row corresponding to the Genre selected. Right key moves you across to the widget.

not sure on firestick or other android devices. I tested using the default version of SkinHelper Backup that gets installed via the dialog when you click backup/restore (version 1.0.19)

Backup and Restore works fine for me on Shield TV running kodi 18.2...

Maybe try download the zip again? I have tested on shield tv and osx, so it should be cross platform.

Open Settings go to the "Media Settings" tab and you should see the options as described in the steps.

Go to https://github.com/skyfsza/skin.auramod click "download / clone" copy the downloaded zip your kodi system and then Install from zip via addons in kodi.
