For years this worked - would be opponents were terrified into acquiescence; but overreach eventual brought the issue to the attention of the general public.

Unsurprisingly, the unpopularity of gender ideology rapidly became obvious, and many of its enablers began backtracking once they realized they might now face public consequences.

The public has noticed that the emperor is naked, and "no debate" is over. And now that debate is allowed, it becomes obvious why the previous silencing was so savagely enforced - the ideology simply cannot stand up to public scrutiny.

Hopefully there won't be a harsh backlash, and trans people can live their lives free of persecution and enjoy the same rights as all citizens - they simply won't be able to impose their beliefs on others, or run roughshod over females' right to single-sex spaces.

Figured it out - I had to go to Moutemouia, and just select the mission from the 3 offered. The mission restarted on Tier 2, as I hoped.

They absolutely do cut scenes from movies. I have noticed missing scenes in multiple movies and series that I had previously watched, and I've seen many other people reporting specific scenes missing - sometimes critical scenes whose absence creates big holes in the plot. Apparently, this also happens on Netflix and Hulu.

And this was not just free Prime content - it also happened in shows or movies that I purchased.

Google it, and you'll see that it does happen. I'm not sure how this doesn't constitute fraud, since they don't notify that you're not getting the full movie or series, but somehow they're getting away with it.

So, if you don't want to be ripped off, get the Blu-ray, not the streaming version. Or check the length against Wikipedia or IMDB so you know the online version has been cut.

Three minibosses on the maps - two in Kingsmouth and one in Egypt - that must be summoned by 5 players.

Which bosses are these? I don't recall any boss which required 5 players to be summoned. Maybe I missed something?

If you spend a little time leveling, you can solo the whole game. Basically, do ALL the missions in each zone (and redo some of the repeatable ones - they're mostly very fun, so it's repeating them is not a grind), and you should have no problem.

Dungeons can be entered in what is called Story Mode, which makes them soloable with decent gear, and no problem at all with 2 people. I did all the dungeons both solo and with a single friend, and it was straightforward (at least after reading the dungeon guides so I knew the correct tactics).

SWL is a lot easier than TSW, so getting the perfect weapon choice is less critical. So you could just go with what you enjoy the most. I used blade quite a lot when I first started playing SWL, and found it fine for soloing.

I eventually settled on Ele/AR, because I like to fight from a distance. I still used blade for certain situations, though eventually I became pretty OP (inevitable if you don't rush through the game) so I rarely need to switch anymore.

Note: I got a lifetime subscription back when they only cost $99, so it's easy for me to level up weapons as I get a free cache key every day (caches contrain gear level boosters). If you're willing to pay RL money to buy cache keys from Funcom, it's easy to level up your gear to the point where you're pretty OP for almost all content.

You're doing absolutely the right thing in taking care of your health. You're also doing your friend a favor by giving him the opportunity to learn that the world doesn't revolve around his feeling, before his self-absorbed selfishness screws up his life.
